Weston & I found out we were expecting on July 11th, 2012!!
I was only one day late for my period but had been experiencing nausea & very vivid baby dreams for a couple weeks. I was nannying when I took my test and hesitated on even taking it. I kept thinking I have already peed so many times today & it's not my first pee of the morning like the tests recommend but something kept telling me to take the test.
It was 12:00 pm & I went into the restroom after laying the kids down...within seconds I got my positive result. I stood there for about five minutes COMPLETELY in shock!! I felt so overwhelmed & so excited at the same time. I picked up my phone & called Weston to see when he was going to be home. Little did I know, Weston had gotten off of work early & said he would be there within the following 20 minutes. I did not say one word about the positive test.
For the next 20 minutes I sat in silence and stared at the test. I was very excited to tell Weston & still in so much shock.
When Weston arrived I told him as soon as he shut the front door.
His response?...... the BIGGEST smile I have ever seen! He asked me "we are really having a baby?" & gave me a kiss & told me how excited he was to be experiencing this with me.
INSTANT relief came over me & we could not stop smiling!!
Our first doctor's appointment was on July 18th, 2012 & we found out I was about 5.5 weeks :) & weighing in at 114.5 lbs
