ENGAGED!!!

August 11th, 2012 my best friend proposed!!!!

For weeks Weston has been teasing me--he has constantly been telling me that he bought me a ring & can't wait to make me his wife. Knowing Weston's sarcastic attitude I had a feeling he was just teasing me & did not think he was being serious. I have always known that Weston & I were going to get married--we are too perfect for each other--but I did not know when it would happen.

So i'm sure you're wondering how he proposed....

As some of you may or may not know Weston & I met on a blind date. Our friend Jordan set us up & kept telling us how perfect we were for each other. Although we were both hesitant to the idea, we agreed & decided to go out with each other.

I remember this day so vividly! Tabitha & I were downstairs in my dad's house at the time getting ready for the boys to pick us up. When they arrived my dad opened the door & shouted downstairs to me "There are boys here...should I be nice to them?" I ran up the stairs and said "YESSS!!!be nice to them!!" Worried about something that my dad may sarcastically say to this guy that I had not even met yet.

I walked around the kitchen & into the living room & instantly smiled. He was SO attractive & I was so excited to go on our date!! We hung out ALL night & have been together every day since. LITERALLY every single day.

When he proposed he told me to put on Keith Urban's song: "Once in a Lifetime Love" which I had posted on his FB page a few days before. I played the song & he said "Come here for a minute"

I was NOT expecting what he was about to say next. I was thinking he wanted to sit on the couch and listen to it together or something...I truly had no idea.

He grabbed my hand and said "Since the moment I laid eyes on you RIGHT HERE where we are standing I have known that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you, Tia Done, will you please make me the happiest man alive? Will you marry me?"

I started crying, I was SO happy. I said "YES!!!" before I even looked at the ring & then I saw my ring & was in absolute awe. He has made me the happiest women alive!!

The cutest part of the whole story?.... He had Rylin, his son, on his knee when he proposed so it was as if they were both asking me. I get teary eyed thinking about it & I can not stop looking at my ring.

He has made me the happiest woman & I am so excited to spend the rest of my life in his arms!
